THE COLLECTIBLE EXPERIENCE, brought to you by CollectingChannel.com is a comprehensive collectibles show that airs every Thursday at 10-11am Eastern time on http://broadcast.com The program is hosted by collectibles veterans Mark Stuart and Doug Finley. Each week they discuss the broad range of collectibles and collecting, from antiques to movie memorabilia. Guests are also featured on the program.

Each week the program features the following special segments: (1) Special Guests - Experts in the world of collecting discussing their specialties. WHATCHA GOT

This 1-hour radio show is hosted by Harry L. Rinker, author of Harry L. Rinker The Official Price Guide to Collectibles. THE AUCTION HOUR

The Auctioneer's radio program is a 1-hour weekly radio every Thursday from 5-6pm on WCXI 1160 AM in Fenton, Michigan. The program is hosted by Joe Schmitt. Call 1.888.339.3795 to list your auction.

Antiques Roadshow

The show continues to offer a full roster of intriguing appraisals as well as some new features. In "News You Can Use" segments, Lara Spencer, the show host, ventures out to window shop, armed with information and advice gleaned from Roadshow experts. And the shows wrap up from the "Feedback Booth" - a new element in which event attendees talk back to the producers about their Roadshow experience. Roadshow continues to be PBS's most-watched primetime series.


APPRAISAL FAIR

This entertaining series invites people to have their treasures appraised. Shot in downtown Chicago with host Leslie Hindman, APPRAISAL FAIR helps individuals discover the worth of items they've inherited, found in the attic or bought at flea markets. In addition to a segment called "What the Heck is It?," this series features book reviews of price guides and references. The show is shown on the Home & Garden Television channel. APPRAISE IT!

APPRAISE IT! takes place at Butterfields Auction House in San Francisco (Soma Gallery) and Los Angeles (Sunset Gallery), where pedestrians can learn the value of attic and flea-market treasures. Episodes include how to tell an authentic piece from a reproduction; the "appraisal game" where viewers guess the worth of a given piece; and tips on antique care. AT THE AUCTION

HGTV's AT THE AUCTION features live bidding action at internationally renowned auction houses. Hosted by auctioneer Leslie Hindman, each episode focuses on auction procedures, antique and appraisal terminology, exhibition pieces and historical sidelights. This series also provides the history and value of common antiques and collectibles. (Note: Series 100-700 were taped at Sotheby's; 800-900 at Butterfields; and 1000s to present at Sloan's.) BARGAIN HUNT

Hosted by David Dickinson, the show challenges people to turn bargains into profit. Two, two-member teams are given approximately $290 each and an hour to spend it at an antiques fair. The teams put their purchases into an auction to see if they can make a profit. Even with expert help, the teams discover it's not as easy as it looks, but there are plenty of laughs and lessons along the way. COLLECTOR INSPECTOR

Host Harry Rinker, a national appraisal expert and prolific antiques/collectibles writer, embarks on a one-man show, knocking on doors and ferreting through three homes in each episode to hunt for collectibles lurking there that could turn out to be unlikely treasures. Harry excavates the accumulated stuff in the attics, basements, living rooms, and closets of ordinary people to unearth antiques, collectibles, knick-knacks, flea market finds, and family heirlooms, and then appraises those items to reveal which personal treasures are truly valuable.
